i heard this officer is a rookie, like fresh out of training, and he goes out and does something like this, why y'all officers defending this dude with about 20 hours of experience when some of y'all probably got years of experience, shouldn't you know better?

It does not matter how we in the law enforcement field view it, unfortunatly. It's how the public views it and how the media portrays the incident. In that matter we in law enforcement almost always lose.

Here is my 2 cents. Looks like the 2 Officer's was standing in the middle of the road looking for a suspect and the one Officer saw him coming and tried to stop him. When the suspect didn't slow down and tried to go around the Officer he got knocked on his ass.

Having to deal with critical mass in my area, I believe there is definitely another side to this store. Here the group is known to provoke attacks on motorist and attempt to video it to make it look like they are the victims being attached by cars.
