I love the phrases: "Good dog" and "Stop resisting"... like music to my ears! Anyone know the status of this Officer? I have to admit that, in light of recent events in Oakland, Pittsburgh and elsewhere, first hearing the Officer yell "Officer down" and then actually seeing him lying there really struck me.

Amazing video...I pray the police officer recovered okay from his wounds. This should be a training video to stress the dangers of car stops. The police officer reacted well and didn't take his eyes off the perp. That's why he was able to react quickly and stop the perps advance towards him and never keep your head buried. Stay sharp and alert when on solo patrol and never expect every car stop to be as routine as the last 100 were. It's too bad he wasn't able to put one right between the eyes of that miscreant piece of so called human flesh. Back up responded great and worked well as a team. Excellent police work!!!

Good thing the POS was apprehended! Makes me feel there's 1 less psycho out there when approaching suspects. My prayers go out to the Officer who was shot in this traffic stop and hopefully he has a speedy recovery.

Excellent! I'm so sorry that officer was shot by that POS but I'm really happy that Officer MacGruder's dog caught that guy. Oh, that is so great. Very satisfying to see him get caught by the dog and arrested. Good job everyone! and Thank you.
