Never search from the front, your just asking to get poped in the mouth. you should always ask for another unit on scene when dealing with more that one suspect. This is not the first patrol officer we have seen searching from the front, this needs to STOP.

Shouldnt be dealing with him at all until his backup arrived. How many times have you seen the passenger get out with a gun. Time is on our side. Call for backup and keep him a taserpoint.

Do they still teach front patdown searches in some places?? Anyway, great verbalization, threat assessment, and use of the Taser! I wonder what the bad guy had in his pockets that he didn't want found???
