I have seen it before - treat people like you would want to be treated if you were in their situation - that gets you respect! If you treat them this way most will realize that you are doing your job and as this deputy found out sometimes being a good guy to others can save your life. One question - where are the other deputies? what takes so long for them to get there?

This makes me think that not all people suck.

I am so glad to see a video like this. It really opens your eyes as to who people really are and you cannot always judge a person for their past and look at all inmates the same way. Good job guys and God bless.

Danger is there, you must never let you guard down, but sometimes it is too swift. It is good that these inmates did what they did and the court should plan on their defense as the simple fact that they can do good. Turn away from the evil and remember that you can do the job.
