Like the judge told me, when a civilian blew a stop sign from a side street and t-boned me, "you were asking for it by being on a motorcycle. Hell, there ought to be a bounty on bikers..."

Personally I think this was poor form on the officer. There are any ways about pulling people over for doing stupid things. Pulling out, while knowing full well that one of these erratic drivers will hit you is just stupid. To put it another way, you are potentially seriously injuring /killing a guy for a traffic violation.
