These type calls should be played at every hearing where gun rights are in question. I am a firm believer in the power of Smith & Wesson. Instead of trying to disarm everyone I think it would be great if we had laws that said everyone must be armed and trained. Criminals would be more respectful of others, the regular citizens would no longer be victims like in that McDonalds shooting, and cops would know up front that the person they are dealing with is armed and this would allow them to deal accordingly. Plus when the scum that makes a wrong move gets a quick removal from society.

I am actually suprised she waited as long as she did. However I am going to take an educated guess with only being given the gun the day before she had no idea that indiana is a "No duty to retreat" state and their laws allowed her to shoot him the moment he broke the glass on her door.
At least she survived and the dirtbag is dead. This also illustrates something a lot of the anti-gun people will never get through their heads: Pieces of paper DO NOT stop people from hurting someone. 6 complaints VS 3 bullets? I'll take the bullets every time TYVM...

Way to go dispatch. You keep calm, they keep calm...
Way to go victim...er um... non victim ! ! ! You did right, hope you dont feel bad about doing what you had to do. Even veteran officers who have to use lethal force often have severe issues with what they did, even if it ment saving their life or the lives of others. Even if you dont have problems immediately, it is good to participate in the CISD program. My brother shot and severely hurt a suspect in a standoff. We all see that he has changed a bit since then.

A good example that the police can't be everywhere at once, and owning guns is not a bad thing.

She is really calm. Makes for a nice training video/audio piece. I used to work in dispatch and also have reviewed other tapes for training and this is surprisingly clear and easy to hear. Way to go for her. Makes for a strong victim.(dont much appreciate the donut shop slide though on the slide show) lol
