Check out their site www.carbonmotors.com. it's really informative and explains a lot. They plan to train a technician from your dept. free of charge if you purchase their cars. I can onl hope my dept. wants to get some. It would be nice.

not only might it be expensive, what about maintenance? if something tears up, is the city shop able to handle the repairs? or do ya ship it off to the factory?

Camo - Carbon Motors states that their purpose built police car is NOT to be resold to the public. Carbon Motors will buy back the vehicle when the dept. decides it has outlived its usefulness. The car company will then "recycle" the car by replacing worn out parts or "part it out". Again, Carbon Motors states these vehicles WILL NOT be sold or resold to the public.
