Concerning Cost:
According to the Carbon Motor Corporations' website FAQ section:
What Will the Cost of the E7 be?"
Although pricing will not be announced until 2009, our target is to ensure that the initial purchase price of Carbon’s purpose-built vehicle will be comparable to what law enforcement agencies are currently paying for a retail vehicle and after-market equipment combined. The total cost of ownership is where agencies stand to save a generous sum of money due to the E7’s superior engineering,

NEATOOOOO... I think his would be great for departments that can afford it; I would love to have one.
Cost is going to be high because it’s a priv company and the amount of designs it, but o would it be a great car.

Very futuristic, but as whitebread0000 said, costly. Now i seen the LAPD Chief there, course he's got the funds and NYPD and such. But these money bag departments, especially now, are few and far between.

Where in the hell did you hear it would cost $70,000? The price will be very close to what an equipped Crown Vic will be and the life expectancy is triple of those now in use. In addition Carbon Motors is going to "buy back" the vehicle at the end of it's useful life and give the agency either credit or cash. The vehicle will NOT be sold to the general public at the end of it's usefulness but must be sold back to Carbon Motors. Understand that when the vehicle is purchased by the agency it is ready to go into immediate service the moment it arrives and is FULLY equipped and even painted with radio even tuned to the agency's frequency and computer intergrated to the agency!
