Great response and excellent engagement by the sgt - definitely some WILD footage!
Unfortunately, times have progressed to the point that a patrol carbine and tactical shotgun are pretty much necessities on the streets today...I am VERY thankful that our sheriff allows us to qualify and carry with them (for the past couple years); I admit, I have felt that extra degree of safety while deploying my AR on hot calls and a couple of stand-off situations, knowing my squad and I have some appropriate firepower against an ever-increasingly hardcore criminal element.
Congrats to Sgt Jacks on a courageous effort.

Not trying to Monday morning quarterback here, just asking if anyone saw this: from the angle the final shots were taken from, it looked like another cruiser and a civilian truck were in his line of fire...but it could just be the camera angle. Outcome was good and no one else got hurt and you can't argue with that but I couldn't help but notice the background.

Way to go! Great training...on a side note....the Bailff (sp) could use some more training....Anyone notice at the :37 mark....He had his finger on the trigger.
