I have more respect for LAPD than nearly any other LE agency. I work for a rather small department and could not even imagine what it would be like to live or work in LA.

Decent video from a rather liberal media stand point. Chief Bratton is right, LAPD goes through hell every day. Always maintain good officer safery, never let your guard down, even if you know the suspect.

The chief made a very good point....This war zone is not happening in other countries but right here in our own cities across the U.S. ya we are trying to stop terrorism on a global scale but how about trying to stop it here first..

This video is always hard to watch but is a good training tool...don't ever assume that because you have had numerous contacts with a suspect and they were compliant, does not mean the next contact will not turn into a fight for your life...be safe out there brothers and sisters...
