Brings back sad memories of answering an 'Officer Down' call, pulling up and seeing officers doing cpr on a friend of yours who had been shot. Ten different departments including St louis City, St louis county etc etc.. Shoot one of us and this should be the response, cauz if we don't take care of ourselves no one else is............
Honolulu. 1980's. I still remember how a homeless person walked up casually to three officers sitting for their lunch at a local burger king. He shot two of them point blank in the back of the head with a derringer pistol and without any provocation whatsoever. The third officer. Officer Yuen, had time to roll off his seat and come up returning fire. This turned into a running gun battle between Yuen and other arriving officers, with the suspect at one point rushing officer Yuen's position as he tried to reload. (He was counting the officers shots!) As I remember, there were thirty seven or so shots in the suspect before he went down. The final shot to the head by officer Yuen as he approached the still moving suspect. The very next evening the students from the University of Hawaii Manoa campus showed up in numbers for a candlelight vigil (For the suspect!) Too boot, why so many shots needed? low grain officers bullets due to fear of liability from city officials! As one officer put it. "I could see my shots hitting him against his white shirt, but he wouldn't go down"! The point is brothers, if you don't know by now that you're just a thin line between some semblance of order and complete anarchy, and that you are very expendable, then you really should go find another line of work. You tow a thin line so that those on top can continue their policies and game of screwing all of us and if you make the wrong mistake, you will be sold down the river.
At first, I did not know what I was looking at. Through the research, I was glad to see that there were that many officers responding to this. Hope the scum bags rot in hell.
Hope you all stay safe out there, never become complacent, and take care of eachother. Even those who cannot stand eachother are ALWAYS running hot to back eachother up. Law Enforcement is a family unlike no other. Keep up all the great work!
Thats what you call a show of Force.....Kick ass and %uck taken names......Hopefully they caught the dirt bag. Hopefully the Officer made a full recovery and is still out there kicken ass. Hey my Brother Law Enforcement Officers I thought this was a Law Enforcement site only....I have noticed a lot more non Law Enforcement commenting poorly....I appreciate the supportive non Law Enforcement so dont get me wrong but maybe there is a way to weed out the crap......just a thought
Whaat is wrong with some of you people? "Pretty lightts, must be a slow night, think I counted 3 department. " I hope you are not from MY AREA! Our officers take care of each other. No matter what dept they belong to. Oviously you're not a professional law inforcement offficer. to the rest of you, THANKS FOR A JOB WELL DONE EVERY DAY!!
THIS VIDEO GIVE ME MEMORIES OF THE TIME ONE OF OUR OWN WAS SHOOT AND KILLED TRYING TO STOP AN ARM BURGLAR WITHOUT HIS WEAPON. THE BROTHERHOOD IS ALL WE GOT TAKE CARE OF EACH OTHER GOOD BLESS THE FAMILY OF OUR FALLEN BROTHERS.
When there is an Officer Down, You better blow the snot out of your engine getting there. This is not a game, we take care of our own. You folks that don't have a clue, well remember what the immortal Jack Webb once said "he shot an armed Police Officer, do you think he would hesitate to shoot and unarmed citizen?"
I know when I was hurt in the line of duty that the only thing that kept me conscious was the sound of the sirens of all my brother officers coming to help me. Without knowing that they were on the way I doubt I would have survived. This video actually makes me emotional when I watch it. What a great response to search a horrible event.
