I'm sorry, but I never saw an appropriate tattoo on a cop. Looks unprofessional in a uniform. If you can't see them fine, but anywhere else reminds of a prison population get together.
Robocop - It's been a labor of love! It takes longer than you'd think to sift through the thousands of photos on this site to fine LE tattoos! I'm definitely hoping to get a second one out quickly
I guess alot of these folks will not be going UC. Just like we make book on the perps, intelligence says they make book on us including tats, scars and other markings.
I love PoliceLink Member's Stout517 tattoo, it not only pertains to police officers but to firefighters and service members. Those words alone have so much meaning!
I get the idea. But totally disagree with the display locations on some. Might regret that someday in the future and I dont mean due to age and skin condition either. Of course I am prejudiced against tattoos to begin with. I dont disagree with some who want such. But on a professional, absolutely not. Sorry I wouldnt want a physician or surgeon walking in to my O.R. getting ready to operate, with a flagrant tattoo of a scalpel and a bone saw emblazoned on their body. Or perhaps a Coroner who tries to change specialization areas? Same difference. And before I get flamed, I realize the intent really I do. Just dont agree especially those who try to be "cute".
Everybody is free to do what he wants but I think that a tattoo should not be saw when you are on duty. I think about forearm. There are a lot of masterpieces and I really love them. My point of view consist in to keep the evenness in the police corps wich is a strong point wich contributes to be respected without any polemics for the citizen.
The "badge angel" is awesome and terrific. Be safe.
