The love affair with detectives and movies seems to go on year after year, from the likes of Dragnet and Dirty Harry, now television in inundated with crime scene investigators from Los Angeles, to Miami and up to New York City.

We all know in real life that being a detective is not quite like the movies, however, it can be a very challenging and rewarding step in your law enforcement career, and a step that should be a natural progression as well.
