CAPCOG Regional Training Academy, in Austin, Texas, will be holding a 2 day, 20 hour course designed for the patrol officer to learn about the AR15/M16 wapon family. the course covers the weapon systems nomenclature, disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and reassembly of the weapon. The range portion will cover weapon zeroing, malfunction clearing, positional shooting, barricade shooting, low light and tacticxal movement. Students must bring their own weapons and ammunition. The equipment list is posted at the website below. This course is for Certified Texas Peace Officers only.
