It has been eight years since those tragic events that affected us all so much. We wish to send our prayers, thanks and blessings to the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice on that fateful day.

The following pages provide the names and photos of those brothers we have lost. They will forever be in our hearts.

    I've flown a flag in front of my house every single minute of every single day since 9/11/01! No matter what our country may go through, that flag WILL ALWAYS fly!

    I don't think some people realize what we lost in these brave and courageous souls until you put the faces on this day as you "Police Link" have on this day...eight years later. On that day in 2001 you couldn't have driven a ten penny nail between any two Americans on the soil of this great nation, flags flew around the country from houses, cars and places where a flag never appeared before. People learned in the USA on 9 11 2001 that the statement about our flag and its fire and police are just like the colors it beholds, "These Colors Do Not Run"; the only running that we witnessed on that day was these heroes running into a disaster while so many were running away to save their lives. God give strength to these families, these victims, the agencies that lost so much experience, and the courageous personnel that cared more for humanity than they ever did for just themselves...Unselfishly they served and fought a great fight, now they stand in heavens doors their lives shinning like the heavens stars, a brilliant Red, Blue and White. May all of us "Never Forget The Sacrifice that Each Made"...I will never forget how Americans came together, and this day will follow me to my grave when it comes my time. Michael Rayford Powell.

    Today marks the 8th anniversary of the September 11th tragedy. We all remember where we were that day and the feelings we felt as we saw the horrible events transpire. I recall the outpouring of love, faith, and prayers that occurred throughout the country in the days and weeks afterward. It seemed that in our darkest moment as a country, we stood together as never before and jointly lifted our prayers, asking God for His divine comfort and help.

    Unfortunately, human nature sets in over time and most of us, at least those not directly affected by the events on 9/11, get back to our normal lives. We pray a little less, we rely on ourselves more and more, and we neglect to love others well with each passing day. I encourage you to spend a few minutes thinking about how this is true in your life, and identify what actions you should take to change the trend.

    There are thousands of people, however, who have not gotten back to “normal” life pre-9/11. Nor will they ever. These people lost a mom, a dad, their spouse, a friend, a son or daughter, an employee, a beloved church member.

    Today, as the Body of Christ, let’s call to God on behalf of those who endured loss and must bear the pain of 9/11. Let’s pray as Paul prayed for the church at Ephesus:

    “I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge – that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.” Ephesians 3:16-19 (NIV)

    R.I.P. Brothers...
    Let these pictures serve as a remainder to all those that quickly forgot the day America was under attack... It is not over.
    Radical fanatics are still alive and well, and still planning to kill Americans by any possible means.
    This day will be part of my life until I go.
    NO, I WILL NEVER FORGET....!

    as a hospital cop in new york,It was the most horrific day I have ever experienced.That day will live with me forever.GOD bless all the public safety departments that responded that day.also GOD bless the families of the victims
