| Posted almost 6 years ago I wonder if it would work on dogs too... I know pepper spray bats about .500 for me. Firearms are second only to the Constitution in importance; they are the peoples' liberty's teeth. -George Washington |

| Posted almost 6 years ago I was just thinking the same thing darkness. Our patrol cars would smell like puke all the time. Other than that I think this is a good idea. I agree Hawk. This would be lots of fun at a BBQ. |

| Posted almost 6 years ago oooooooooh! I want one for the jail! Sure would be a good thing in recieving when we got idiots trying to kick the door open... Or hell, it'd be great for all occasions in the jail :P However, I think if we had them, 2 of the 4 squads may all end up "incapacitated". Such jokesters.

| Posted almost 6 years ago That sounds like a rave minus the X and GHB. Not sure I buy it. On the selling to the public deal, we took a taser off a bad guy this weekend. |

| Posted almost 6 years ago I have a 41 led flashlight, just ordered a 100 led light. (yes I have a flashlight fetish) I guarantee if you look right into it, you will be blinded. I blinds better than my Xenon. not as much usable light, but for tactical, it's the bomb. The article on it is on AOL. Stay Safe. 'Tis better to be silent and thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

| Posted almost 6 years ago Jack60 said: If a suspect were to pull a taser on an officer, would that be grounds for deadly force? 1. The suspect might hold the trigger down for a long enough period to kill. 2. If an officer is tasered, the suspect can take all the weapons. Just from those to points alone, I'd have to say it would be justified. |

| Posted almost 6 years ago I have heard of deadly force being justified in the cases of Hypo wielding assailants, I think it would be a gray area, but ultimately justified. Stay Safe 'Tis better to be silent and thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

| Posted almost 6 years ago We were given the green light to use deadly force if a taser was pointed at us in an attempt to discharge it... for the reasons Henry pointed out. Tasers work and so does your duty weapon that's on every LEO's duty belt on the street (or should anyway). Not sure what the court says though and they are the ones who ultimately decide if I keep my house or not. | Posted almost 6 years ago I don't think I'd be too keen on the idea of using a flashlight to subdue an attacker...just seems to me i want the absolute sure thing: the taser, or service weapon. There's so many what-if's with a flashlight: What if...they turn away? they just aren't really affected? they aren't affected enough and rather enraged and use that .380 they have in their pocket while all you have is a vomit ray? the dope idea is a great one, but as far as a line of defense? no thanks |
