Posted over 5 years ago "The Eyes of a Man" If you ever can look into the eyes of a man dressed in blue,
He suffers from lack of sleep, the red eyes will tell,
Years of tears sometimes built up inside,
Look a little deeper in his eyes and you could even see,
For all the times people have been rude to him,
For the little girl he saved from a burning car,
Not to mention, the bank robber he caught last week,
For the drugs he has confiscated over time,
The times he wonders at the end of the day,
But, don’t look unless you are willing to see,
He wears his uniform, gun and a badge on his chest,
For if you look real hard you will also see,

| Posted over 5 years ago #Thats first time I have seen this one........ THANKS For so long as one hundred men remain alive, we shall never under any conditions submit to the domination of the English. It is not for glory or riches or honours that we fight, but only for liberty, which no good man will consent to lose but with his life. | Posted over 5 years ago New one on me too. It actually makes be smile for a minute to see there are people in this world who care about the needs and feelings of us LEOs. Thanks so much CCCO88 for this. "Let us endeavor so to live that when we come to die even the undertaker will be sorry." - Mark Twain MODERATOR #9 |

| Posted about 5 years ago i like this...its good, and true. you dont hear too many people say anything good about officers anymore. especially with the way the media portrays us. respect is hard enough to come by just being a civilian. its that much harder for an officer. |

| Posted about 5 years ago I have lost to many good friends that are LEO in the line of duty, and even though we still think about them and talk about them but everyday life takes over and people start to forget. This poem is amazing and reminds us to always be thankful for our officers and for each other.... Thank You so much for the job You do..... |
