On friday October 25th, 2013, exactly 44 years to the date since Lt. Anthony (tony) DiPalma walked into the Abraham Lincoln High School to take the entrance exam for Police Officer, New York City Police Department, signed out on the official police blotter for the last time after serving 41 years. After Tony signed out, many family, friends, and fellow officers were on hand to see him take his final ride in a vintage 1974 patrol car

Lt. Tony DiPalma was a close friend of Officer Mikiesplace and had begun his career in the 77th Precinct in the early 70's during the war against the Black Liberation Army. I am very proud of my dear friends accomplishments and career.

Hey Mikiesplace, what is he going to do now?

We gotta guy here who will retire for the second time in November 2013. His claim to fame is being the oldest Motor Dude in the nation.... 78 years old and still riding a motorcycle...as a Reserve.
