I am asking for any recent graduates of the SC Criminal Justice Academy to respond.  During the 12 week program, how do the instructors handle recruits who are unable to run in formation for the entire 3 miles. Is there any alternate physical training if you become injured. The reason I'm asking, is that I have an old injury that can flare up when running without allowing sufficient time between runs to recover.  I'm in fairly good shape, but I have not been a consistent runner because of this. I can manage ellipticals or stationary bikes without a problem.

Have you asked the Academy staff? I'd think they would know best

Yes, axe the staff. If you want to be a cop one must be a thinker. Research your questions. You recently joined and this is an odd first post. Go to the sourse.
