9/11/13

12 years ago. 9/11. Everyone has a remembrance. Everyone has a story.

There is a march in Washington today. Who knows who will show up. It was originally called the Million Muslim March. Really?

A response from the recreational motorcycle community was to ride through D.C. today. Maybe a million or so bikers?

We remember. We know who atttacked us and killed our people and who were responsible.

A solemn remembrance today. One hand over my heart. And one hand clutched around arrows of peace.

Remember.

Aim at the high mark and you will hit it. No, not the first time, not the second time and maybe not the third. But keep on aiming and keep on shooting for only practice will make you perfect. Finally you'll hit the bull's-eye of success.

9/11/13

What a tragic loss or life and property, I will never forget that day.

I was very lucky. My daughter-in-law was working at the Pentagon that day. I was so relieved to find out that she was okay.

It is so hard to understand how someone can hate that much to kill innocent people.

May God bless the souls of the three thousand innocent victims of the worst terrorist attack on American soil.

The sun has set. The eulogies have been relived. Tears shed. Memorial sites revisited. Loved ones recalled.

And, we move on. Maybe not with the ol' American stride we're accustomed to but with the grinding, gut-it-out pace that marks who we are.

Thanks to Marly for the stirring photos she posted.

And thank all of you who viewed this thread and posted here.
