Thanks GrayPanther. For the O.P.-Gee I've never seen this subject come up before and I have only been on this link for some four years, off and on.How many thousands of individuals have come on this link and have only tried drugs ONCE?Have any of we officers and deputies stopped a drunk driver who uses all ten lanes of a two lane road and only had ONE beer?
I wish to beg your forgivness if this is really your first time ,but it is an old Soft Shoe routine to most of we knowledgeable leos.

I am curious what drugs you took? Also curious what response you received?

@ SSU459:  I understand your suspicion, my short blip of 5 years as an MP gave me the same skepticism on these sorts of things.  All I can say is that if you knew me in the real world, not online, you would know it was a one-time thing.  For the bleeding hearts out there, we lost close friends on that deployment and we were looking to blow off steam in a town where those drugs are quasi-legal (for civilians).  Wrong way to reconcile, wrong thing to do all around...I regret it wholeheartedly, and not simply because of it's affect on my civilian LE opportunities.

@ Uncledennis:  Psilopsybin mushrooms and marijuana in Amsterdam.  I read the link in the first response: basically says anything other than marijuana is usually a DQ and it's best to clarify with each dept.  Since I haven't heard anything from my local agency while friends of mine have, I presume it's a no-go again.

For what it's worth Seattle states on their website that if it's mushrooms the usage must have been more than 10 years ago.  Then again that's a bare minimum standard and most agencies can do better than picking those with the bare minimum.
