How to Tell the Difference Between the Branches of the US Armed Forces!

If you give the command "SECURE THE BUILDING", here is what the different services would do:

The NAVY would turn out the lights and lock the doors.

The ARMY would surround the building with defensive fortifications, tanks and concertina wire.

The MARINE CORPS would assault the building, using overlapping fields of fire from all appropriate points on the perimeter.

The AIR FORCE would take out a three-year lease with an option to buy the building.

In my outfit in the Army we would first do sit ups, pull ups, wind sprints, yell out our general orders and wait till squad kicked the problem up to platoon,to company,to batallion,to regiment,to division,to corp,to Army to the Pentagon.Generally by that time the problem would have solved itself. From thense to the beer hall or P.X.

what would the fat security guard that works at walmart get to do? I mean, if he was by chance, there...? hey! that's still law enforcement ya know.

No idea. You are correct that this is a law enforcement site; however,, many members here are former or current military. Thus the reason for this post.

I don't think there was an Air Force in the 12th century.

Ya gotta account for the caldrons of boiling oil.At any rate Sylvester Stalone could work his way through any of these problems if only he ever retires from the ring.

And I would just walk in and say, "This place needs a flow. We need pillows over there, some chrome over there, different bullnose molding, soft color palate for that wall and a wireless outlet. And OH, counter stools that go round and round and round. Let's design some different estectics for this place. And where is my faithful Agador ?
