I simply wish to invite all good P.L. members to join me in prayer for our fellow citizens in Oklahoma who have lost so much.Mostly in human lifes, structures can be replaced/repaired.I not only have sympathy but empathy for these individuals. While on duty in 1975 a f-4 struck my town .My wife was also working. There was nothing left but our basement,in which was trapped my three children. We were immediately placed on twelve hour duty and twelve hour stand-by status.I did not know where my wife and /or children were for three days as I was stationed on the other end of town, walking patrols with national guard troops.-----------------------This time around I have relatives in Shawnee and the Oklahoma City area which are fortunately ok! It especially hurts the heart seeing the number of children who were lost.May God grant some form of comfort to all survivors...Rev. Dave

Very sad to lose everything like, but even worse when children are injured or die.  Prayers on the way.

My Thoughts and Prayers have been with the Families of this devastation since I first heard about it. I've been following the stories off and on though CNN. Tragic!!

Listening to the news last night and hearing how the teachers were using their bodies as shields to protect their children brought me to tears; everything seems a little more tragic when children are involved...Prayer being sent to all!

We had 3 tornados touched down here in Iowa during the storm but the damages weren't severe like in OK. Prayers sent.

Above all, we must realize that no arsenal, or no weapon in the arsenals of the world, is so formidable as the will and moral courage of free men and women. It is a weapon our adversaries in today’s world do not have.

Any loss of life due to calamity is tragic, but I echo your sentiments that loss of children's lives is heartbreaking. My thought and prayers go out to all those in Oklahoma who have lost so much.
