Sheriff Leon Lott talked about Sheila’s act of heroism in her fight for justice; how on that February day Sheila did not back down in apprehending a man who had assaulted his girlfriend and was repeatedly shooting at her and other deputies. The Sheriff stated that Sheila acted with no regard to her own personal safety and thanks to her bullet proof vest, supplied to all deputies by the Department, she is here as a survivor to tell her story.

You wouldn't go in there for a million bucks...A Cop does it for less...A Reserve does it for free....
