I have been applying around for the last 16 months or so to get a job as a police officer in IL (finacial situation is making out of state testing impossible at the moment) and I've tested at 12 different departments. I've noticed that the department's i did not qualify for have been the departments with a subjective section on the written exam. (no real right answers rather it's opinion based with answers like strongly agree, agree, neutral, disagree, and strongly disagree) I've been wondering if, or how, I can prepare for these types of questions so i can get on some more department elgibility list's. (and hopefully land a career, I've got a 4 year degree in criminal justice)

There are some xam and study guides under the tab "Become a Cop" at the top of this page. You might also consider checking with your local library to see if they have any books that might be able to help you out.
