how do i become an undercover officer?

Posted about 1 month ago As a kid ive always had a dream of becoming a police officer. as i grew older i wanted to become more of a detective or undercover officer. i know you must start as an officer, but i was wondering what all does it take to become either of my goals/dream. - cost, classes, schools, etc. |

| Posted about 1 month ago Believe it or not, not all departments have undercover (plain slothes) officers or even detectives. Get all the college education pertinent to Law Enforcement you can, get hired by an agency, learn all you can there, pay your dues (street time, time on the department, etc) and apply for the position. | Posted about 1 month ago Bump 36TR! You need to worry about getting hired first. Why are getting all these question lately about being undercover? What's wrong with working the road? People are watching to much tv. You wouldn't go in there for a million bucks...A Cop does it for less...A Reserve does it for free.... |

| Posted about 1 month ago i dont have cable and dont watch much tv. ive had many tell me id fit perfect into that area because of my tattoos. dont have many and theyre non offensive but non the less they are tattoos. people wouldt expect me to be an officer. andive actually really wanted to be swat but where im from theres nothing like that. i like in a really small town. so im signing up for ride alongs to get my foot in the door at least. |
