What are you asked at a probation metting? I have one soon and am trying to write something to bring in so I may show them that what I did is a mistake and I now know it was.

I would write something to the effect of "What I did is a mistake and I now know that."

Of course I'd add a little more detail of how you came to that conclusion and the steps you have taken, and are going to take, to not only make amends but to ensure it never happens again.

If you truly are sorry for making the mistake you did, say so in your own words. Don't sugar-coat it and don't BS them (they will know).

What were you charged with? And how old are you?

If you are going for a presentence interview, you will be give an opportunity to make a written statement about the offense, how you got involved, why you did it ect. if you are sorry, say so, ifyou owe a victim an apology, do it. If this is just a first meeting with your p.o. they will ask all the questions.
