I've done some research and came across a website that the Hawaii State Public Library System provides for aspiring officers to practice for the written exam. The website is:

infotrac.galegroup.com/itweb/hawaiistatepub?db=TERC

All you have to do is enter in your Hawaii State library card barcode number. If you're not from Hawaii, drop me a message and I'd be happy to share mine with you.

After entering the number, follow these links: career tools>law enforcement>police officer

You don't even have to register (though it is recommended), and you get three practice exams, along with detailed explanations for the questions after you complete the tests.

Hope this helps any other aspiring LEOs like myself!

Just out of curiostiy, how does your Library feel about you "loaning" your barcode to non-patrons? If someone does that at our library, they risk being suspended from the library or even banned.

As far as the Galegroup site (Cengage learning - infotrac), part of their Terms of Use and Copywrite states:

"General Terms: These Terms are personal to you and you may not assign your rights or obligations to anyone. "

In GOD We Trust (All others get searched, then checked through NCIC)
