Posted 4 months ago Hi everybody, I am a recently retired LEO with 24 years service in DFW area. Took a year off for some much needed rest. Now I'm looking for 2nd career but understandably no more 1st responder stuff. Hopefully I will network with others here who have made successful career transitions. I have specialized experience in K9, SWAT, field crime scene investigation, drug interdiction and police photography. Other than that I enjoy passing along knowledge from my time as a police officer to others starting out or considering commitments to public service. Wasn't easy to leave but no regrets. Thanks again to the members who have made me feel quite welcome here. |
