got a call for the BI ant the agency that i applied to, He called to tell me that i passed my poly and that was the good news but the not so good news what that i had some thigs on my credit that had to be taken care of, so i did I pulled my own credit and got it all paid off except for a repo that i had about 7 years ago, i set up a pyment plan with them I have letters from all of the m stating that were paid, I told the BI that he said that was great, and i faxed him all of the letters, he said that he had to talk to his major to see if they could move forword with the process now, with all that being said I make no excuse for not having them paid off in till now, but the reason that they are on there is because at the end of 2008 I moved from CT to MS to take a job that shut down and i was laid off, and that is when most of the bills pilled on and i have just now with this years tax return had the money to pay it all off, I dont know f it is to late for me lol but i still have hope becuse they not DQ me as of yet, and also they have 9 positions open and out of the 63 ppl that applied for the position there are 9 of left so I am hoping that will help also should i write a letter to the major explaining everything that i just did to you.

Be patient and let the Background Investigator do his work. Avoid contacting the major, and the department in general, unless its to return a phne call. It MAY serve as a disqualifying event. As the great Tom Petty says, "The waiting is the hardest part."

Relax and take a deep breath. I advised you in your other forum to not contact police personnel. If you become a pest your processing can come to a slow crawl. You are not listening to advice given by others. Back off and wait for them to communicate.

Fax them the forms saying that you paid off the debts and thats it. You already explained it all to your background investigator. AND THAT IS ALL! If the department you're applying for wants more information from you, they will ask for it. After that, relax and enjoy the ride. While you wait I'd also advise to learn how to use spell check and how to use punctuation.
