New to PL. Just saying Hello to all and hope everyone has a wonderful week. Also - I've been training very hard, from a physical stand point - wondering if there are any workouts particularly helpful to conditioning me for the physical agility tests ahead of me. Thank you :)

Thanks!!! I'm wondering if I may be overdoing it, every time I work out I seem to throw up. Could be my acid reflux - but I'm not sure if that's just a sign of me pushing myself or because I'm not used to working out yet.

Good morning and welcome to Police Link from the Missouri Ozarks. If you are intending to join a larger metro Police Dept. there will be numerous physical agility tests which is just a small portion of the testing procedures you are required to pass before being accepted in their academy.

Bump my friend MarlyB with her suggestions.

Welcome to PL from SoCal.  The physical agility test will be slightly different for each agency and likely based on that State's current POST requirements.  Check the recruiting websites for the Departments you're considering; some will likely give training pointers.

For example, LAPD has alot of info posted on their site, and offers mock testing and training/conditioning classes through their CAPS program.

Welcome from NYC.

Have ASP will travel.

Justice is the one thing you should always find, you gotta saddle up your boys you gotta draw a hard line.

When the gun smoke settles we'll sing a victory tune and we'll all meet back at the local saloon.

And we'll raise up our glasses against evil forces singing whiskey for my men beer for my horses.
