 Has anyone seen this?

"Heroes Behind the Badge" ( is a documentary film that tells the stories of several officers and their families, some who were wounded in the line of duty and survived, and others who made the ultimate sacrifice.

50% of proceeds from show ticket sales and DVD purchases go to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund.

From the website: "This inspiring documentary will change the way we look at the men and women of law enforcement and highlight the unselfish acts of bravery they commit each day in the line of duty."

Instead of a traditional release in theaters, it has been brought to different cities by local groups who organize the screenings in their city. We had a screening at one of the theaters here on Friday night, organized by the local Police Wives Association. One of the most amazing things I've ever seen. The parking lot was FILLED with police cars (there were easily 150 - or more - officers in attendance from all over Missouri), and the theater was completely packed with both LEO's and civilians - both shows sold out. What an awesome show of support.

Highly recommend this - it's very emotional, and wonderfully done.

I've heard about the project being promoted but this is the first tie I've heard such details. Interesting to hear. Good to hear. I'll have to look into it some more.
