Thought I would pass along some news.

I was on Blackhawk's web-site the other day and I noticed that their horrid Xiphos pistol-mount weapon light was not on there anymore. 

So, with a hopefilled heart I called their customer service department to see if they were abandoning it (xiphos) and were going to be possibly putting out Serpa holsters that will accept a pistol with a mounted TLR or X-series light.

The answer was...YES!

They currently have in testing/production phase a Level III Serpa retention holster that will accommodate either a Streamlight TLR-series or Surefire X-series mounted light.

It will be named the Epoch holster and they are expecting the release of it to be in the early part of this year (2013)

That's good to hear! The Xiphos was an outrageously priced and inferior quality light.

 I do believe I hear people shouting for joy!!!
