| Posted 5 months ago I always love it when they say "Officer so and so is a personal frined of mine" or "My (insert family member here) is/was a Cop/Deputy/State Trooper". My response has always been: So, you should know better then, right? My step-son is in Law Enforcement. When he was still a road Deputy, I was at a crash scene with him. The drunk asked me if I knew "so and so Deputy" (my step-son). When I replied yes, he went on to say "Well he's a really good friend of mine and he wouldn't like it if you guys arrest me for DUI." After my step son put the handcuffs on him, my step son politely told him "Dude, I don't know you. So, don't drop my name". I almost fell over laughing from the look on the guy's face! | Posted 5 months ago Had one the other night at a local pub. Me: WHATS YOUR NAME? Him: WHAT DO YOU WANT IT TO BE? Me: UNDER ARREST. Him: gave name and date of birth. LOL Bad stuff happens to good people, handle it and overcome.

I am not in LE yet but I cannot stand it when a parent says that last one to their child. I saw an officer get down on one knee and tell a child, after hearing his mother say this, "I am not going to arrest you. In fact, if you are ever in trouble or get lost you find someone who looks like me and we will help you. We're the good guys." I will never forget that. I cannot stand: "You hur me?" | Posted 5 months ago Believe it or not we have 3 in our area. That is only about 3500 people in our county. LOL But not to many lie about their names as when we find out they just get more charges. Hehehe!!! Bad stuff happens to good people, handle it and overcome.
