Bwahahahahaha. That's always a good suggestion, UncaD!! JF, most initial tests that I'm familiar with are tests involving common sense questions or psychological type questions. Don't get yourself worked up over it. Just take a deep breath, relax and do the best you can. Best wishes. |

| Posted 5 months ago Welcome to PL, and what I know about Burbank came mostly from the TV show 'Laugh-In' so I wouldn't be of much help. |

| Posted 5 months ago At this point, there is nothing else you can do other than take the exam. Learn from THAT experience. Hiring exams for California law enforcement are generally standardized. |

| Posted 5 months ago Be on time........ early is even better. Was taking a written exam for another agency in Los Angeles County when 30 minutes into the exam, some guy walks in and asks if this was where the test was for the (insert name of department). When he was told that this was the test for animal control, he turned and walked away. We all chuckled and continued taking the exam. |

12/30/12 Now hold on there, unca D. Way back when (87) I took my written test with a hangover. Came out #1!!! I'll support your assertion about taking it while sober, but I wouldn't rule out the "hangover effect". PL MENTORING TEAM MEMBER "Don't underestimate the drawing power of the Garden State." | Posted 5 months ago Wait, isn't the whole purpose of college to train people to go to work with a hangover??? lol |
