Something I posted on our C.O.P.S. Facebook Page that I want to share with all of you.

As we come to the most joyous time of the year, we also come to the same days being the deadliest days of the year for Law Enforcement Officers. Christmas Eve, Christmas day, and New Years day are the three deadliest days for Law Enforcement Officers. As you go about celebrating the Holidays, please keep our LEOs in your thoughts and prayers as they work to keep us safe, that they also remain safe. To our LEOs, please Stay safe, remember there is no such thing as a routine call, wear your vest, wear your seat belt, call out on your stops...dispatch will get over you annoying them with doing so...if not too bad, at least you are taking steps to be safe, don't wave off back up, and most of all come home to your family, friends, and coworkers. To those who are family, friends, and supporters of LEOs Thank you. Finally, to those who have lost a LEO, please know that you will always remain in my thoughts and prayers. Your scarifice has not gone unnoticed or forgotten. C.O.P.S. will always be here for you.
