| Posted 4 months ago I don't think security personnel in my area can carry a back up gun per license policy. I am curious if your company allows this? Security personnel in my area can only carry certain weapons outlined by the board whom grants license. I know they are kept on a short string. As a police officer we can require them to produce their commission card and weapon for inspection. |

I am legally allowed to carry a back-up as long as I have my concealed carry permit on my person in conjuction with my certification ID. I don't work for a security company. My employers allow me to do what I need to do to protect others as well as myself. |

| Posted 4 months ago In my area non-sworn is security. I assume you do not hold police status. Have you received any training beyond on the job? Personally you are sending a few red flags. I am suspicious of your job description. I am honest and do not sugar coat my feelings. I am not attempting to be tough on you however, would not be comfortable giving my opinion. Please do not take my comments personal however, I have exposed some imposters. |

I hoped we had gotten past all of this. Uncledennis if you wish to email/message me though policelink I will provide you with every detail you could want and answer any question you have. Sorry I don't feel like posting up alot of personal details/information on an open forum. Or, maybe I'll just wait to ask any further questions past "how's the weather?" until my pending apointment to a sworn LEO postion goes thru (I am in the appointment process now.) |

| Posted 4 months ago hey bump, in some of your posts ya do kinda seem young, anxious, a little too eager etc, but thats cool. experience, age, guidance, good roll models and education will smooth things over, and ya gotta excuse uncle dennis, if ya look at his profile, he was a BOSS. and we all know how they are. AND REGARDING YOUR CUNUNDRUM, I WOULDNT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THAT. i am catholic and never used them. |

| Posted 4 months ago Mikiesplace Not that young...in my early-mid 30's. Which I guess maybe young to some around here I think the preceived anxiousness/eagerness stems from frustration. I understand why many on here are suspicious and with every right to be so. However honesty and intergrity are paramount to me so I can take it as an affront when mine are questioned. And when you get a bunch of people coming at you and questioning you, your intentions, and your honor it can make one's self a skosh defensive and thus attempt to quell the perceived inquisition as quickly as possible. I was expectling some questioning and doubt/suspicion, just not in the torrent with which seemed to come. And yeah, i know how bosses can be i've been one & was an instructor a college ta boot to. Oh and no worries on the cunundrum just keep on rocking that rhythn method and I'll have somebody else help me out with it.

| Posted 4 months ago L.O.L.--Speaking of cunundrum reminds me of my younger years on the job.I purchased a condominium and worked as security for a grocery store chain.I was speaking with one of the young male checkers one day in our crowded lunch room when he said he was also interested in living in a condom. After everybody got through rolling on the floor I expalined the difference to him after I told him it would be a tight squeeze. |
