Posted 7 months ago Is there a Genessee County Reserve officer on here? Im trying to join them and I want to know some of the things you guys do. I already talked to the captain and he gave me the basic. But if there are other reserves from different places id like to hear from you too.

| Posted 7 months ago I have worked as a reserve for a couple of police departments, and i did the same things as a paid officer, however I had worked as a police officer in the past so didn't really require any training. If you have not worked as as a LEO, expect that you will get training (equivlant of being with a field training officer) before you are out on your own. You may also work as the 2nd officer in a 2 man unit before going solo. |
