Yep,Obama won again. We Republicans can now lick our wounds and discuss, till we're blue in the face, what went wrong. It is really no more difficult than realizing WE selected the wrong person to carry our banner. This has occured three times in recent history with Dole,McCain and now Romney. It can easily be,I believe, classified as a learning disability. We have run either weak moderates and/or Liberals against the Dems.We trot out somebody who has the same political proclivities as our opponent,NOT so terribly intelligent.Thusly,we leave the electorate no choice whatsoever, ergo they will vote for the devil they know rather than the devil they don't

Our parties machine leaves our Ronald Reagan candidates sitting at home and give no voice to our Reagan electorate.I'm convinced our country is hungry for the return of the Conservative philosophy where our president would balance the budget.protect, defend and believe in the Constitution, honor the flag, protect our diplomats, believe in God,promote small business, embrace the working class. We criticized both Clinton and Obama for running for reelection the day they took office.Well,it evidently works ,doesn't it?If we don't learn from history, history will mosr assuradly repeat itself.

We have any number of young champions in our party who are capable of winning.PLEASE why can we not consider the possibility of a Bobby Jindal,Herman Cain,Marco Rubio,Rick Santorum,Ted Cruz, etc. In the interim we have the government we deserve, nothing more, nothing less.

I agree, it's over with, we'll going to have to deal with four more years of Obama's reign over America. We can only hope and pray for a turn around but I'm really pessimistic.  I"m not going to rant and get upset.  I"m going to try to keep my head held high.  I proudly voted for Romney.  I may not of liked that he's Mormon but I felt he could help turn things around.

I was going to add another thing here but my mind went blank.

I'll try not to be offended about the Mormon thing......just kidding... Our country is a pop culture driven society. We are more concerned about having a person who is charismatic and relateable than we are with having a person to fix issues. The only way Obama would be beat in this election is if we had a black woman running for office. It would even the score a bit. I don't mean to make this a race issue, but minorities made up a large portion of votes and most of them went blue.

There is one major party who has proven over the years that it pays to cater to the lazy class and the ill-informed.Gee,what a brilliant concept,as long as he provides me freebees and raises the food stamps to another ten milliuon in four years.let's vote for him.Millions more out of work and millions more under employeed, the dollar practically valuless,MARVELOUS ! Let's reelect him .Telling the Catholic electorate they must pay for abortions, forcing socialized medicine down our throats due to a traitouous supreme court Chief justice .How very blessed we are.Oh,sorry, did I forget 4 dead in Libya,oh well, says he,"just a Bump In The Road".I wish to talke this opportunity to congratulate the American populace foir displaying their gross disdain for our way of life.

I am truly worried about the deterioration of once important values in this nation.  It seems as if a "traditional" family, hard work, honesty and face-to-face interactions with people are all things which have been cast aside as "old fashioned".  I worry we'll stray so far from our once sacred values that we'll become lost in a world where anything goes.

It's okay to be "tatted out", it's okay to have numerous sexual partners, it's okay to pierced on every body part, it's okay to be wasteful, it's okay to shirk responsibility, it's okay to sue for frivilous things.......it goes on and on.  We allow it to happen because we are too afraid to stand up and be labeled as "behind the times".  I am certain that many of our country's founders and even our not-so-distant deceased relatives would be appauled at what we allow to happen in today's society.

All too often taking responsibility has taken a back seat to people having "the right" to do and say what they want when they want.  However, I suppose I value structure, discipline and responsibility more than some......maybe I'm the crazy one.......

The people wanted someone who was mentored by a card carring comminust, was friends with people who are criminals to say nothing of the pastor of the chuch he went to.   Plus who has a wife who was never proud of her country till he was nominated for president. Really ?     Versus someone with biblical principles.    Wonder who Obama is going to blame for the mess he has inherited in his next term.

America deserves the government it gets. The people have spoken, and it appears as if they like unemployment, poor economy, and a weak foreign policy. Wunnerful.

Bump gn13. Having moral values has flown out the window. I wish the president would put as much effort into the country as he does making the talk show circuit. I fear my children will be mired in a national debt that can never be paid down. I also think full time jobs will be a thing of the past as employers try to survive the legalities of Obamacare.

I also proudly voted for Romney.

I was listening to Talk Radio this morning.  Already an employer is going to fire the employees who voted for Obama and keep his work force under 50 people so that his business won't be affected by ObamaCare.  Hmmmm.... wondering how many other employers/companies will follow suit.

I will say this (I guess this is a bit of a rant) to everyone that voted for the annointed one aka President Obama.  You voted him in for a second term.  He fudges up things again, you are in part to blame for this because you voted the guy back in.  Enough said!

I am not against Mormons.  I didn't mean to offend anyone.  I"m Christian and I wanted another Christian leader.  I truly believe Obama is not a true Christian.  There are underlying issues there with his claiming to be Christian.  I believe he's a radical Muslim.  IMHO!

BUMP to the 10th power! I touched up a bit over what you said after the fact.  Of course, you said it so much better than I ever could.  I didn't vote for Obama, so don't blame me for the screw ups that are probably bound to happen err.... continue to happen.

Suzanne I was trying to make that same point. I work in the service industry. They will either cut your hours down to 29 hours or less. The alternative is to also keep under 49 employees. Full time jobs will soon be a thing of the past. We are in dire straits.

My 2 cents: The national debt threatens the survival of America as a free nation and the meltdown of the economy is driven by a sense of entitlement that is a disconnect from a sense of responsibility. We live in a world where college has never been less affordable or good jobs harder to find........what we need are strong leaders.

Suzie - yup.  Only problem is the uninformed/misinformed voter isn't restricted to the left side of the aisle; they just seem be more concentrated and in greater numbers on that side of things.  Those of us in LE/Military (and even a lot in private Security) know how to use our heads and think, whereas the people we encounter largely don't.  They seem to be content being told what to think, not how to think.

My employeer was told to cut about ten people from our staff today. I am not shocked but very disappointed. My boss is a small business owner who can't afford to pay for healthcare for all her employees.

I am not affected personally by this since my husband is a LEO and we have health insurance. I also have senority

I also would like to say before people gloat about his re election we employ many single parents who will now join the masses. Good job Mr. President.

Obama said he was going to pull all the troops from the war before he was elected last time...yet he continues to send troops over. Universal healthcare would be great if we could afford it. Heck, a lot of things would be good if we could afford it. He is catering to groups that vote for him...minorities, poor people, 18 year olds. He did inherit a tough situation when he took office. We were at war and the economy was on its way down. I accept that. But spending money we do not have is not the answer. He also has maintained the highest unemployment rates in recent history. His 9 month bridge jobs make it look better than it is, because the jobs are not permanent. He has done nothing to work across party lines and continues to refuse any sort of compromise. They proposed a BS women's rights bill without even letting the republicans know about it, let alone asking their imput. Republicans wanted to re-write the bill to protect employers, but Obama used it as a political boost to convince people that Republicans do not support women's rights. We need a leader willing to represent ALL of Americal, not those who subscribe to his agenda. We need a leader who will look for imput from state leaders and place party affiliation a few steps below the overall good of the country. We have not gotten that from Obama. I hope he will be a better leader in his second term.
