Posted 8 months ago Getting ready to purchase a Glock 30. It will join a family of Glock's. Seeking feedback boys and girls. I did Google search. I am considering replacing the Glock 36 for plain clothes carry. For those that comment a free bowl of Butter Brickle ice cream. Thanks in advance. Shetland |

| Posted 8 months ago UncaD, Relax and take a deep breath. There are a lot of good guns out there, why limit yourself to the Family of Glocks. Continue the research and see what you come up with. Do I get my Butter brickle now? :)

| Posted 8 months ago I owned a glock 30 a while back. It was my first, only, and last, glock. It shot well and never malfunctioned. I just did not like the weapon. I traded it on a Kahr. A much better piece in my opinion. For my high capacity compact .45 I bought a Taurus Mellinium. Again a much better piece in my opinion. PS. Thanks for the ice cream.

| Posted 8 months ago In 45 caliber I prefer the S&W M&P's as they just feel better in my hand, not so big, slightly smaller magagine capacity is more that offset by my ability to do better shot placement IMO. You can bring butter brickle to The Rub, a newish BBQ joint that is not bad at all. |

| Posted 8 months ago Well, I am a 1911 fanatic and carry a full size on duty and either a Commander or Officers off duty. The only other gun I really like that fits my paw and I shoot well is Springfield Armory XDm Compact 3.8 for a smaller size. BUT, I will NEVER give up the 1911! Can I have my ice cream cone now? | Posted 8 months ago UncaD, I own 2 Sigs, a Springfield XD9, and AMT9 Bakup, S&W 357, Colt SFVI .38 and a Sterling .380. Not a fan of the .380, but the others are great! Butter Brickle, please?? :) |

1st post and this is it. In the military and in Law Enforcement we have a saying, "the ones that boast the most have done the least". The discussion is not about the effectiveness of any given caliber or model but the concealability and grip comfort of certain handguns. ""Life is a storm.. You will bask in the sunlight one moment, be shattered on the rocks the next. What makes you a man is what you do when that storm comes"
