This conversation, argument or whatever is a continuation of this topic:

The 49ers and NY Giants played yesterday: 10-14-12. We got our beeehinds handed to us. I ate garlic fries. I NEVER eat garlic fries. I joined my Niner brethren and ate our woes away.

If you got a team your following, let us know how they are doing.

Indeed my Cowgirls make a better SHOWING than my Cowboys.Stuck in a rut of mediocrity and Romo is determined to see that it stays that way.

Good or bad, die hard Cowboys fan. Romo is over rated and can hit the road anytime.

I got disappointed that my Cowboys lost yesterday morning but the Yankees lost yesteday evening so, in my mind, it all balanced out.

I know this is a football forum but to mention the Yankees .... well, that's just fine with me. Toooo bad about that broken ankle and that broken swing from A-Rod. Guess you can't buy perfection. Bah. A little humility will smear well.

My Steelers aren't doing very well this year either. Injuries have decimated Pittsburgh, and I don't care for Todd Haley's play calling. The offensive line is a shambles and without Mendenhall running the ball (injured constantly) and with Troy Polamalu out (calf) on defense we are in serious trouble. At least my second favorite team (Dolphins) is 3-3.

I liked the Steelers when I was a kid. 'Mean' Joe Green, Terry Bradshaw, Franco Harris.... and the looming Steelers logo. However, since I am a genetic Niners fan due to being a native San Franciscan, I generally floated back to the 49ers.

Do the Steelers know about your 'other relationship' with the Dolphins ?

Thanks for opening this thread Sarge, hopefully you didn't opt for the 'cheesy' garlic fries.  Concessionaires use an imitation cheese that's probably a molecule away from being considered plastic.

Any who, the NYG's are 4-2-First NFC East.

I'm worried about a couple of their upcoming games against the Steelers, and Green Bay.  Two hard teams to beat.

Anyone have their predictions of what two teams are going all the way to the Superbowl?

Your team beat the Niners and the Niners beat GB so why are you sweating? LOL.

I know I was so down, watching the game Sunday.  I really thought that my Niners would give the Giants a run for their money this time.  Alas, it was not meant to be.  By the way Sarge...how did the Giants do?  I haven't heard yet.

How bout that Broncos game last night? Being down 24-0 at the half, and end up winning 35-24!

I think Peyton only had one incompletion the second half

For Thursday night, 10-18-12; Well heck, old news: Niners over the Seahawks: 13 - 3. We won but it was a grinder. Torture 2.0.

I was there. Beautiful day/evening game. Everyone in short sleeves: A real anomaly. I had my winter-over coat folded up and by my side. Everyone was on their feet, yelling and having a good time. Most folks stayed to the end.

But we have a lot of work to do. It definitely was the Frank Gore show, ... again. He is just pure lightening.

You've got that right Gunns. Great game. Phillip Rivers turned in a great performance for the Broncos.

Lonna that game was a really decent game.  There was a time there when I thought that the Redskins might pull it off.  It was a close game all the way...and talk about turnovers.  Wow...at one point there were three plays in a row that were turnovers.  Of course I was hoping that the Redskins would shut them down (since they took out my Niners) but it got to the point where I was almost rooting for the Giants....almost. : )
