Posted 8 months ago Happy birthday to the greatest document made by man! There is no document greater; other than the word of God! “The real reason that we can’t have the Ten Commandments in a courthouse: You cannot post “Thou shalt not steal,” “Thou shalt not commit adultery,” and “Thou shalt not lie” in a building full of lawyers, judges, and politicians. It creates a hostile work environment.” |

| Posted 8 months ago I would have to say I understand it up to a point. All the nuances of interpreting it for application to modern problems I am inclined to let experts (such as SCOTUS members writing opinions, both majority and dissent) explain that. I generally, when I give enough effort, am able to understand their explanations, though. Happy 225th (of adoption). Bessie Braddock: “Sir, you are drunk.” Churchill: “Madam, you are ugly. In the morning, I shall be sober.” |

Bump, Sarge! Blood has ran for and will run for it time and time again! It is who we are and will continue to be! There are so many levels to the American way!

Also that. I don't ever envy the alternatives. Bessie Braddock: “Sir, you are drunk.” Churchill: “Madam, you are ugly. In the morning, I shall be sober.” |

| Posted 8 months ago Congress doesn't read it. They have advisors and staff and interns and PACS to tell them how to "interpret" it. PL MENTORING TEAM MEMBER "Don't underestimate the drawing power of the Garden State." From the film "Dogma" Trying to stay sane in an insane world... |

Bump, A qualification to be in political office should be to recite it word for word and pass a 500 question test and an essay explaining what they read and understand!

| Posted 8 months ago I love the Constitution. You know there is a problem when our government, which is restricted by this great document, spends most of its time trying to get around it or flat out ignoring it. |

As does anyone with an agenda! Sad but true!

| Posted 8 months ago I purchase pocket copies to hand out free of charge to all academy graduating classes. I tell them this is who you work for, "THE PEOPLE". Never forget that. What burns me is when someone says my Constitution of The United States of America is a fluid document and changes with the times. HOGWASH!! It is a black and white document. If Congress adhered strictly to it we would not be in the mess we are today. ""Life is a storm.. You will bask in the sunlight one moment, be shattered on the rocks the next. What makes you a man is what you do when that storm comes"
