A few years back while I was on Police Link I remember reading a post about a group that helped Police Officers that needed to go to the Mayo Clinic, they helped the officer with room and board and transportation to and from the clinic. I work with the Cook County Sheriff's Department in the Chicago area and I have a fellow officer that will be going to the Mayo Clinic in a few months for a life saving operation...he has a brain tumor that has to be removed and from what the doctors tell him the Mayo Clinic is the place he needs to have it done. This officer is married and has two young boys and has a excellent chance of a full recovery because of the Doctor that he will see at the Mayo.

Please if anyone has any info about this group please send me a message in my mail box- you can also post it here but if you send it to my mail box I will get a alert email telling me that there is a message waiting and I can get the info to him the same day. As we all know in  Law Enforcement we do not make a lot of money and any help that this group can give will take any undo stress off this officer who as you can imagine is under a lot of stress as it is.

Thank You all in advance for your help- Stay Safe and God Bless.

You're welcome, but I'm simply the messenger.  I just texted a Minneapolis PD friend with a heart of gold and she gave me the information, so my heartfelt thanks to Lynn.
