After 10 yrs in the unit and a 6 year hiatus, I'm back in the best cop job there is.  My new partner, Nitro is a cool dog. 3 years old and has what it takes to do the job

Thanks everyone. We're about to finish with a narc school. We're working together very well. I see good things happening.

Thanks.  I forgot to mention...he's a Mali x GSD cross is appears. Haven't seen the pedigree yet to confirm it.

He was already certified as a dual purpose patrol/narcotics dog. I just finished a narc class to satisfy the eventual Harris case outcome pertaining to narc dogs. I'll be taking an abbreviated patrol dog course just to get him up to speed as he's been inactive for months before I got him. I've certified a DP patrol/narc dog and a DP patrol/Explosives dog in the past. All this training is primarily a formality as he's a good dog and has easily picked up where he left off.
