Posted 10 months ago Asking all PL members to send a prayer to my former agency. Early this morning a demostic call turned into a officer involved shooting. Suspect pointed high powered rifle at deputies. Suspect is dead. And just now another deputy from the same agency was shot at an area motel. Unsure of the details at this time. Pleas keep this department in your prayers through the next few weeks. Its going to be crazy at this department as they try to work to high priority cases at once. I posted both news articles under the news section if you wish to read. You wouldn't go in there for a million bucks...A Cop does it for less...A Reserve does it for free.... |

| Posted 10 months ago Sheriff gave a couple words to the media about the deputy shot. Three deputies responded to the hotel for a possible rape. When questoning the suspect a struggle broke out. The suspect somehow got a finger on the deputies weapon and fired the weapon striking the deputy in the leg. The other deputies returned fire killing the suspect. Deputy's life was saved by on the deptuy's because he had a turnekit on him and applied it to the deputy's leg. Per the surgeon, that saved the deputy's leg and life. You wouldn't go in there for a million bucks...A Cop does it for less...A Reserve does it for free.... |

| Posted 10 months ago Another incident just took place in the neighboring county, two officers involved in a traffic accident while responding code to a suicide. This has been one of those days........ I also just noticed on my wrist my fallen officers bracelet that today marks 13 yrs that a deputy was KIA. I am so glad that all of these officers are going home today. You wouldn't go in there for a million bucks...A Cop does it for less...A Reserve does it for free.... |
