Posted 10 months ago Hello to all, I recently joined the forums. I am a 23 year old Automotive Technician looking to start a career in law enforcement. I've participated in a few ride-a-longs with my local agency and really enjoyed it. I have the utmost respect for the men and women who protect and serve the communties world-wide. The Agency I am wanting to apply for is currently not accepting applications, but will open that process up sometime before the end of the year or beginning of next year. I'm taking this time to study a lot and get myself ready for the civil service exam. I purchased a book from Amazon and have began reading and taking practicing tests. I've basically reached the top at my current employer and do not see myself working for anybody else in the Automotive industry. I'm really looking forward to starting a new chapter in my life and hopefully a career with the Police Department. Cheers!
