Sit back and wait. Do not become a  pain. Relax.

Like UncleDennis says, RELAX and wait for the call.  If you become a nuisance to them they will never call you.  You must work to their schedule, and not them to your schedule....

Above all, we must realize that no arsenal, or no weapon in the arsenals of the world, is so formidable as the will and moral courage of free men and women. It is a weapon our adversaries in today’s world do not have.

You do not say how long you have been processing or when you started processing with RSO.  The whole process is a "HURRY UP AND WAIT" proposition.  You get tasked with all things required from one phase to the next with a whole lot of wait time in between.  This can go on for a year or so before you ultimately get the call.

With the cutbacks in funding for a lot of LE agencies, BI's are busier thatn ever and may have other duties as well, it may take months before your BI actually had time to do your BI, patience is your friend.

Hurry up and wait really does sum it all up. With all the interviews necessary to do a complete and thorough background investigation, it takes quite a long time to be done properly. Patience is a virtue, especially on the job. Now is a good time to begin to develop it.

You're only 3 months into a process that can sometimes take as long as a year (or more in some cases).  Unless they put you on some sort of a fast track........ count on approximately 6 to 8 more months on the short side.  Until then....... HURRY UP and WAIT...... and REPEAT.

Take a deep breath and relax. If everything is as you say, the call will come. Be patient.

Now is a bad time in California, Many agencies are down sizing or on a hiring freeze. I work at a state prison up north and they just took half the staff off my yard!
