Posted 11 months ago I love this show and can't wait till October till it starts its 3 season. But I am a little confused. Are the walkers and zombies two different things. They deal with the walkers differently than I thought they should if they are zombies. I would not want their blood all over me. Can someone please clarify this for me. YaYa Sister |

| Posted 11 months ago No I just think "Walkers" is just a slang term for the zombies. If I know where you're talking about it's the time they walked right past them like they were one of them. If you notice, they make sure to cover themselves in "protection" and cover the protective clothing. |

| Posted 11 months ago I agree with you LadyG. I love this show too. cmm07r you are right that "walkers" is just a slang term for zombies. They thought at first that the only thing that turned you into a "walker" was being bit or scratched. It wasn't the blood itself, so that's why they don't care if they get the blood on them. The end of season 2, they all found out what the doc from the CDC told Rick about it not mattering if you're bit or not. Everyone is a carrier so it doesn't matter if you're bit/scratched or whatever. In the animated graphic novels, there are some sections where they put some protective clothing on at the prison but that was so they couldn't be bitten or scratched. I am definitely eagerly awaiting October for Season 3. If you haven't read the graphic novels, I would suggest that you do. They take a somewhat different storyline at times than the tv show does but they are very good and will get you hooked by the end of the first issue. |

| Posted 11 months ago LadyG...I wouldn't say that Shane was my favorite, he did have his own personal demons after leaving Rick in the hospital. I will say that they picked the right actor though for Shane. I would have to say that my personal favorite would have to be Rick. I don't know if you've read the animated graphic novels but Rick has really gone through h#ll. And Marly...love the play on words..."zombies leave you cold"...lol This is one of those shows that's not just about the walkers, it focuses more on the characters and their lives after this happens. Fantastic show. |

I probably would have been eaten by now. LOL TM17931 I hope you got to watch season 1 & 2 this past weekend. I didn't start till season 2 so got to catch up on all the episodes. YaYa Sister |

Bump, Marly, it spreading across the country. The Walking Dead is excellent and I can't wait for the new season. Another good show is "Being Human" I am hooked on this show as well. It's about a Ghost,a Vampire and a Werewolf who are trying to hold on to their human side while dealing with what they are. Check it out! |

| Posted 10 months ago Can I just put it out there that everytime I see Carl, I want to punch my TV screen?! We have a group here in San Antonio called the Zombie Response Team...when I first saw thier jeep driving down the road, I thought it was a joke. Let me assure you, they are serious! When/if it hits the fan, these are the people I am hooking up with. They'd let Carl go!! |

| Posted 10 months ago SALisa I can understand what you're saying but again we have to try to put ourselves in their shoes. How would we be feeling, thinking and acting if this really happened. This show does definitely show them putting walkers down but I think it focuses more on what each of the featured people are going through. I'm wondering about your Zombie Response Team there now....Lol LadyG.. I do know what you mean. When last season ended the way she was acting towards Rick about what happened with Shane made me just ticked off. But after that episode they had a show on called "The Talking Dead" where they discuss the episode. They said on the episode that Laurie didn't know what to do or think because she realized that she had put the thought of killing Shane in Rick's head. Myself....I saw it more like she realized that Shane was who she wanted and not Rick. I'm not sure how much the TV show will differ from the animated novels but if they come anywhere near close, you're going to be seeing Carl growing up very quickly. If you haven't read them and are an avid fan of the tv show I would definitely recommend them. I know they just came out with issue 100 not long ago and all I can say is Holy!! |

| Posted 10 months ago I DVR'd and finally watched the Black & White version of the first episode. WOW!! Really reminds me of something from the 50's or early 60's (except for the graphic scenes). Only 3 more months till it's back!!!! :) |

| Posted 7 months ago Great show cant wait for season 3 to start. What's weird is there really aren't any characters that I like in the show. I'm not too fond of Rick or Laurie because they always leave their son to go wandering around by himself. Seriously put some supervision on that boy! And I think Laurie is dirty. It seemed to me like she wanted both Rick and Shane. It seems like she never wants to own up to her mistakes but instead blames everyone else. I'm married to the LORD..no prenup |

I mean, seriously...that kid irritates me to no end. He's going to end up getting everyone killed. How realistic is that??
