Posted 11 months ago I work nights and with each weekend comes those in public who seem to think that intoxication is a good ideal. My recent encounter involved a drunk male who thought it was a good ideal to climb a 50 foot metal art work piece in front of our office building to take a leak. I do have to say though the stupidest person was the girl with him that was not under the influence who climbed the tower with him to hold his cell phone while he urinated a stream that landed 5 feet from the homeless guy sleeping on the bench below. While law enforcement officers see things like this on a day in and out basis, can you share your most memorable stupid person incident so we can all get a good laugh? |

| Posted 11 months ago Well the majority of my stupid people moments as a driver usually lends to a blessing from above that nobody was killed. However I can share one story. A driver was sitting in a truck stop diner bragging about his miles and how hard he runs. Another driver asks em how he does this and he responded that he runs two log books. The driver asking with a keen sense of perception of the man sitting behind the braggard asks isn't that illegal? The super trucker responds heck I don't worry about DOT they ain't caught me yet and they aren't gonna. The inquisitive driver just grins as the man behind him stands up and turns around and asks the driver to step out to his truck to inspect his log book... Both of them!!! says the Cali HP officer. Funny how the only enumerated right that contains the phrase "shall not be infringed" suffers the heaviest regulation. I'm still trying to find where it says anything about hunting and targets. |

| Posted 11 months ago Yep. Just thought it was a funny story. Funny how the only enumerated right that contains the phrase "shall not be infringed" suffers the heaviest regulation. I'm still trying to find where it says anything about hunting and targets. |

| Posted 10 months ago That is a good one! Sometimes I just wonder if they are thinking when they make a decision. My latest is a drunk guy who decided to hump every concrete pole outside the facility last night before passing out on the sidewalk...I guess he just wore himself out.. |

| Posted 10 months ago Caller from Alabama (no, not making this up) and I'm in Louisiana. He tells me we need to stop this lady in our town from bothering him. After asking 4 times how is she bothering you, this was his answer: She is spiritually raping me! I repeat what he said, to make sure I heard right. He replies, I've asked God to help me. I said, well, that is probably the best way to deal with your situation. He asks why can't we help him... I said, because we are not equipped to handle spiritual rapes. He actually thanked me and hung up.
Oh, I blame the television show Cajun Justice for this! LOL |

| Posted 10 months ago I encountered a former agency member who has since retired and even passed on, but he was a highly educated man and despite the level of education that he held, he lacked the practical sense to do what needed to be done at times or make a well rounded decision. Though not the stupidest individual he was too smart for his own good... |
