Posted 11 months ago I have my first ever written and physical test with a police department. I am nervous as can be about it, I have no idea what to expect on the written test, The written test is what I am most worried about. Could anyone offer advice on what to expect, the best way to prepare myself for the upcoming tests? Anything tips and/or advice would be greatly appreciated. |

| Posted 11 months ago Does the department you are applying with have any materials to study for the test? If not....answers are pretty logical. Don't over think your answers. Don't be afraid of failure. If this is your first go at it, go in looking to gain experience. If it doesn't work out, you'll know what to expect for next time. People try and fail several times before getting their first police job. Enjoy the ride and learn as much as you can. |

| Posted 11 months ago Don't underestimate the physical test. Get a good night's rest and drink fluids, especially if you have to run in this heat. http://www.iamsorryivotedforobama.com/ How's that HOPE and CHANGE working out for you? What would you do for a Klondike bar? |
